As I was walking down the aisle, he was looking at me with the most handsome smile on this earth, with those shiny magical eyes, which had kept me going since day 1. One could tell how happy he was; that aura of innocent, sweet, pure love I had experienced is unexplainable. I had this moment of joy and utter happiness with teary eyes because he was so happy, and I was walking with a smile until he whispered out, “I Love You.”
And I burst into uncontrollable tears when he said, “Hey mom, you look beautiful today; please don’t cry, it’s your day,” while walking down the aisle with me and comforted me. He is my 8 years old son Daniel, and I, Celina, his single mom & the only one he could call “his” until today, when he got his dad, Ross, the love of my life, with whom I tied the knot of the wedding, today morning.
I adopted Daniel from a neighbor who was having a financial crisis and was doing a job of Ragpicking. She found this tiny newborn baby crying in a bin; guess somebody had put him there. She brought him to me and rushed, saying, ”take his good care because I cannot.” Daniel, who was wrapped in a blanket, as I uncovered his face after she left, there it was, a cute little boy who was with those same shining eyes, who looked at me, and yes, It was love at first sight.

As soon as I uncovered him, I noticed he had birth defects. I immediately rushed to the hospital, where doctors confirmed he needs to undergo surgery to be able to walk.

Daniel made me a mother even before I was prepared to, and that too, a responsible one, because with the mercy of God, I could help him walk with crutches. I got his treatment done. And there he goes today, was walking down the aisle with me, with that little hand around my elbow and his crutches under both his arms.
He had changed my life since the day he came into it. My whole life was centered around Daniel until Ross comes into our lives 4 years ago & made our life even more beautiful, filled with joy.
Since the day we met Ross, he had a father in him for Daniel. We all three are proud of each other because we made a family, way more worthy because of each other’s presence.
Today, here we are; we started a family already, and after tying a knot today, we made it official. I am the happiest person today, and with God’s mercy, it feels all worth it after Daniel has written on my veil, ”THANKYOU MUMMA.”
No, my kiddo, Thanks to You
Love You Both
