Growing up in the “City Beautiful,” I was surrounded by voices urging us to “Save the Earth” and “Protect the Environment.” However, the ugly truth of garbage dumps and a fading charm plagued my childhood playground. Alongside fellow warriors for change, I decided to embrace the mantra of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (RRR) and promote sustainability.
What started as a hobby of transforming discarded goods into beautiful creations for friends and family blossomed into a passion project. Encouraged by their love for my upcycled decor pieces, I took a leap of faith and launched Funda RRR on Instagram to showcase my creations to the world.
Through Funda RRR, I breathe new life into waste, turning what was once considered trash into wonder. Each piece is a labor of love, meticulously handcrafted and infused with the spirit of sustainability. From repurposed bottles to recycled fabrics, I weave a tale of environmental consciousness and beauty, inviting fellow travelers to join me on this upcycling journey.

However, as a woman entrepreneur, I faced my fair share of challenges. Many consumers were unfamiliar with the concept of upcycling or the benefits it offers. Educating them about the environmental impact of their choices and the value of upcycled products was a constant endeavor. Moreover, convincing people that even eco-friendly and upcycled products can be chic and fashionable was an uphill battle.
But I persevered, fueled by my belief in the power of upcycling to create a greener, more sustainable future. Through consistent efforts and engaging content, the number of followers on Funda RRR steadily grew. Each new follower was a testament to the growing awareness and appreciation for sustainable living. And with this growth,I am determined to reach even greater heights.
Through Funda RRR, I strive to establish a strong brand presence and build brand loyalty, one handcrafted piece at a time. And while the journey began with just few followers, each day brings new opportunities to inspire and educate, slowly but surely gaining recognition for this meaningful cause.
To my fellow women and moms, I say this: if you have a passion, a hobby, or a unique skill, don’t let it gather dust. Embrace your creativity and turn it into a fulfilling career. It may seem daunting at first, but with determination and unwavering belief in yourself, you can overcome any obstacle.
