My love for crafting began during my school days. I vividly remember spending hours creating handmade cards for my teachers, infusing each one with personalized touches and heartfelt messages. After school, I continued crafting, making personalized gifts for my friends, and they absolutely loved them. Crafting wasn’t just a hobby; it was a form of self-expression and joy that I couldn’t get enough of.

Embracing the Power of Instagram
Fast forward to around 2014, when Instagram was becoming the go-to platform for sharing creativity and inspiration. Encouraged by a friend, I decided to showcase my creations on Instagram under the name Handmade_gifting. With just a humble investment of a hundred rupees, I embarked on this new digital adventure, not fully aware of the journey that lay ahead.
The Initial Struggles and Perseverance
As with any new endeavor, the initial stages were filled with challenges. Despite pouring my heart and soul into each creation, the orders were slow to come in. It was disheartening, to say the least. But I refused to give up. It took me almost a year to receive my first order from Instagram. Despite the lack of support from others who couldn’t envision a future in crafting, I persevered. I worked tirelessly overnight to fulfill orders, often hiding my materials from skeptical eyes.
A Turning Point of Support and Growth
Gradually, my perseverance began to pay off. With the unwavering support of my family, especially my mom, and the growing appreciation from customers, Handmade_gifting started to gain momentum. What began as a small Instagram page soon blossomed into something much more significant—a testament to my passion and determination.
Transitioning to BR Creations: A Symbol of Identity and Inspiration
Handmade_gifting may have been a random name choice, but today, it’s my unique selling point. As it gained recognition, I realized the need for a more personal touch—a name that resonated with my identity and values. And thus, BR Creations was born. I now run a full-fledged business called BR Creations, named after my grandfather who inspires me every day.
His wisdom and guidance have always been my guiding light. With BR Creations, I found not just a name, but a symbol of authenticity and inspiration that would drive my business forward.
Looking Ahead with Hope and Ambition
As I reflect on my journey thus far, I am filled with an overwhelming sense of pride and gratitude. Over 9+ years, I’ve built a business from scratch, one that fills shelves and hearts with joy. But this is just the beginning of my story.
Owning my own business and doing what I love gives me immense pride and satisfaction. The financial independence and freedom I have gained is invaluable. But just as importantly, I love playing a role in spreading joy through heartfelt gifts crafted with care.
In the years to come, I envision BR Creations reaching new heights, spreading joy and creativity to every corner of the world. With each new creation, I am one step closer to achieving my dream of financial independence and leaving a lasting impact on the world.
